What can I do in less than an hour to look great for the holidays ?

I know you are busy,, but we have 2 great solutions for your face. The simplest and quickest, barely 20 minutes, is Silkpeel vitamin dermal infusion. Or what we like to call our “Black Tie Facial” As the name implies. Its a facial that infuses vitamins and leaves you glowing. The reason we call it the black tie facial, is because it is so clean you could come in a dress and go straight to an event looking radiant. The one people are most familiar with is microdermabrasion which is not only messy but leaves you with red blotchy skin.. The silkpeel couldnt be more different. Silkpeel uses diamond brushes vs microdermabrasion is like “sandblasting” you and silkpeel vacuums up the residue ( you can see the dirty water coming form your face where it is collected) And like i said you are then simultaneously infused with vitamins leaving you glowing. In fact a series of these would make quite a difference and there are different solutions, like ones for acne as well.

If you have an hour and a few dollars more, nothing beat a Thermage to tighten your skin and create more collagen to help you maintain a youthful appearance. Thermage has the longest safety record. Its been around since 2001. Millions of people have had Thermage treatments. Tightening your skin and producing more collagen is exactly the opposite of aging.

In either case if you have an hour, come for a free consult. Decide on the spot. No commitment No charge, but you just might walk out looking a little bit younger for the holidays.

Cheers
John

Skin Tightening

Skin Tightening Thermage Exilis NY

Skin tightening today can be sophisticated, simple, cheap and expensive.

While there are creams and masks and lotions. There also more sophisticated treatments. There are plenty of choices like thermage, exilis and carboxytherapy.

We feel that a radiowave approach or laser tightening is more superior than the surgical methods which can be botched.

What is Aesthetic Medicine?

Aesthetic Medicine is a quickly growing field in mostly non-invasive cosmetic treatments to body contour. This subspecialty is no longer limited to the fields of plastic surgery and dermatology, as many specialties are offering aesthetic medical procedures in order to better accommodate their patients’ aesthetic needs. A growing trend among baby boomers is that aesthetic treatments are part of a normal health routine with the goal of maintaining a natural and healthy appearance. From

Aesthetic medicine is an inclusive term for specialties that focus on improving cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Traditionally, aesthetic medicine includes dermatology, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery. Aesthetic medicine includes both surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation) and non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non surgical liposuction, chemical peel), and practitioners may utilize a combination of both.Although aesthetic medicine procedures are typically elective, they can significantly improve quality of life, psychological well being and social function.

How fast can I look better in my bathing suit ? Non Surgically ? Immediate ? Loose skin ? 1 Thermage, up to a few inches right away ( plus smoother and tighter long term.

2 Fat reduction ? Exilis 10 days after ea treatment. (1 a week 4 to 6 treatments) So yes this summer

3 Cellulite ? Acoustic Wave ( the european gold standard)

4 Stretchmarks ? Carboxytherapy might be all gone by labor day. ( 6 treatments 1 x a week) How great would that be ?

Contact us for a free consult. Let us show you on your body exactly what have done for others. You have nothing to lose but your fat loose skin, cellulite or stretchmarks http://www.precisionaestheticsmd.com/contact.html

Precision Aesthetics – Thermage, Carboxytherapy, in New York – Contact LISA A. ZDINAK, M.D. Call (212) 799-1411

PS dont be fooled by all the ads for coolsculpting. ea treatment needs 2 MONTHS for the dead cells to absorb most people need 2 to three treatments. So thats December or February to see just how much loose skin you will have, (if it worked many phone calls I have answered were because they had no results) then you will need to see us anyway to get rid of the loose skin, totally butt backwards way of doing things.  If it made sense and was completely safe we would offer it.

Coolsculpting Side Effects from their website

At 1 to 2 weeks after treatment, there may be redness, bruising, and swelling; tenderness, cramping, and aching; itching, skin sensitivity, tingling, and numbness. In some cases, numbness may persist for several weeks after a treatment. Talk to your doctor if these side effects persist past 2 weeks or worsen over time.Rare side effects include:

  • Paradoxical hyperplasia: Visibly enlarged tissue volume within the treatment area, which may develop 2 to 5 months after treatment. Surgical intervention may be required.
  • Late-onset pain with a typical onset several days after a treatment and resolution within several weeks.
  • Freeze burn: First- and second-degree freeze burn may occur during treatment. It typically resolves without sequelae with proper care.
  • Vasovagal symptoms: Dizziness, lightheadedness, nausea, flushing, sweating, or fainting during or immediately after the treatment.
  • Subcutaneous induration: Generalized hardness and/or discrete nodules within the treatment area, which may develop after the treatment and may present with pain and/or discomfort.
  • Hyperpigmentation: Hyperpigmentation   ( dark spots light spots) may occur after treatment. Typically, it resolves spontaneously.
  • Hernia: Treatment may cause new hernia formation or exacerbate pre existing hernia, which may require surgical repair

This is a relatively speaking new procedure, their latest updates were in 2013 vs Thermage over 15 year safety record and 7 years with Exilis

PS the definition of hyperplasia

hy·per·pla·sia
ˌhīpərˈplāZH(ē)ə/

noun

MedicineBiology
noun: hyperplasia; plural noun: hyperplasias
  1. the enlargement of an organ or tissue caused by an increase in the reproduction rate of its cells, often as an initial stage in the development of cancer.

Coolsculpting vs Thermage vs Exilis

There is so much noise in the industry, I wouldnt believe anything I read.  If I was a patient I would search and read MedEsthetics or Aesthetic Magazine to read what the Doctors read, where they evaluate and discuss these treatments.  It is where I confirmed what I already understood about the differences between these procedures and why Doctor Zdinak wisely said years ago it was an inferior treatment. You will read Doctors explaining how they use Exilis and Thermage to smooth out lumpy Coolsculpting results as part of their protocol. To make matters worse Coolsculpting just launched a 45 Million dollar advertising campaign.  You are going to see it everywhere.  So lets start with what it is and what it isnt.  It is only for killing fat cells.  It takes three months to see how much of the frozen cells absorb and decide where to treat next ( we dont know where they go most people report no weight loss) and the results are so certainly lumpy that many doctors offer Thermage at the same time.  Coolsculpting is not for,  and does absolutely nothing for cellulite, texture or skin tightening collagen or loose skin nor does it claim to.On the other hand Thermage, according to the Television show the doctors, resulted in 5 inches right off the table, so we can end the whole  discussion right now.  But lets dive a little deeper.

So coolsculpting 3 months, Thermage results immediate,  plus continuing smoothing and tightening results for up to six months, Exilis 10 days Coolsculpting they evaluate and treat again 3 months because thats how long it takes for the frozen cells to absorb and see how lumpy you are and how much and where you need more treatment.   Thermage besides the immediate tightening (because there is an immediate tightening of the collagen that holds back the fat) there is also melting or apoptosis (cell death) but the long term effect of thermage is as you grow more collagen you will have smoother and tighter  skin, improved texture and even an improvement in cellulite ( although we have a specific treatment for cellulite)  all the attributes of a more youthful appearance.  With coolsculpting  imagine taking fat out of a sausage, you will be left with more loose skin.  By the way Exilis is FDA approved for non surgical fat reduction, and there is no limit to how much you can do.  Let me show you a few before and afters to demonstrate my point.  As with all before and afters everyone shows their best results, results of course will vary.  cool sculptingThis is one from coolsculpting    ( all treatment results will vary by individual)

thighs 2 inches

EXILIS TREATMENT ABOVE     ( all treatment results vary by individual naturally)

Unfortunately the coolsculpting is a little out of focus, ( maybe on purpose) we get many people who have lumps and bumps from Coolsculpting and liposuction to treat and fix what those procedures created.  Do you even need to ask why we dont offer it ?  Both Thermage and Exilis are superior in every way from cost to time of treatment time to see results amount of results quality and quantity of results and total cost to the patient. If y0u are still sold on Coolsculpting, at least go to someone that will also price it properly and include Thermage and Exilis in the cost to smooth out the results.  Exilis we do 6 treatments for the body, but you can continue as long as you want.  Lets have another look.

zeltiq b & AABOVE COOLSCULPTING BEFORE AND AFTER   all treatment results will vary  These are the absolute one in a million best results

Below Exilis

Exilis Tummy 5:16

EXILIS AFTER 4 TREATMENTS   all treatment results will vary

but that is a terrific improvement in 4 weeks vs Coolsculpting above in at least 3 months

Thermage Tummy TighteningTHERMAGE BEFORE AND AFTER   all treatment results will vary

Its almost as if the person who did the Coolsculpting came for a Thermage to fix the lumps from the coolsculpting ( by the way many do come to us for that) Dont forget Thermage melts fat as well, its called apoptosis ( killing fat cells) and  it also tightens skin and improves texture, it would even help a little with cellulite too.

Exilis Tummy Before and After ladyIf you ask me the holy grail of non surgical fat loss is Exilis, there is no limit to the number of procedures you can do.  With each procedure you are not only “melting” fat but tightening skin helping with texture ( think cellulite) and building collagen which creates the smooth appearance and holds back the fat.  Dr Zdinak has a great video that explains how and why cellulite occurs.  If you watch that you will really wonder why anyone would even dream of just killing fat cells without addressing the collagen layer which is the all important layer for appearance.

Any questions ?  Feel free to call us 7 days a week 9am to 8pm.  We are happy to answer all of your questions about any procedure that we have and those that we researched  and we can explain why we chose to not have them.  We study and research every new treatment in the market place and  actually test many of them as well. If its effective safe and gets better results than what we are currently offering we would have bought it yesterday.  We were offered the right to be first in New York for many of these treatments.  In actuality we were the first in New York with Thermage NXT in 2007, first in New York with Thermage 16.0 for the body.  First in New York with the Thermage CPT tip for the face.  Dr Lisa actually lectured about the Thermage CPT in Europe at the AMWC Aesthetic & Anti-aging Medicine World Congress The world’s largest event for Global Aging Management attended by over 5000 physicians from all over the world ( only a handful from the United States)  In fact that is where we discovered Exilis and brought the first one to New York.  It is the most popular treatment in Europe.  Its hard to be honest and make comparisons without sounding like you are trashing the competition.  Lets put it this way there are almost a half a dozen treatments we were offered to be the first in New York with that I can proudly say we dodged a bullet by avoiding those machines completely. Some have fallen out of favor, some are not even offered any more the rest we shall see.  Coolsculpting will probably  stay with us if no real adverse events like nerve damage or some other adverse events are discovered and they keep advertising 50 million a year.  Thermage has the longest safety record, its been on the market for around 15 years  Coolsculpting around 5 years originally introduced in 2011 couple of rounds of financing and improvements around 2013.  Its not even close to being the best treatment for non surgical body shaping however their marketing is brilliant and overwhelming the market this year.  There are 2 other reasons that they might fall out of favor.  The first is reality.  In speaking to prospective new patients, many have said they did the research and simply read that it does nothing for skin texture laxity sagging skin and they realized it would not be a good choice. The second reason is they might be a victim of their own success.  I have spoken to many people who know someone who came out lumpy, so they might actually get to the point where everyone knows them for better or for worse. Kinda wish I had one, there are almost a million searches for it every month. But what would we do with it when the patients come in and we explain what each treatment does and doesnt do ? No one will choose it. 🙂 Thats an expensive paperweight

Effective Skin Creme? Obagi is Here!

obaji 15%

We recommend everyone start with 10% regardless of what percentage they have used in the past.  Obagi is formulated for maximum penetration.  Many perceive Obagi 10% stronger than their previous brand.  A slight tingling may occur in some people, which will diminish with continued use.

Obagi Professional-C Serum is available in three concentrations

20% – Obagi For the highest concentration on L-Ascorbic Acid

15% – Obagi For all skin types

10% -Obagi  For dry, sensitive or reactive skin

DIRECTIONS

Apply 5 to 7 drops of Obagi Professional-C Serum to the face, neck and chest using fingertips until completely absorbed.  Apply to cleansed skin in the morning before sunscreen and makeup application.

BENEFITS

Obagi Professional-C Serum uses stabilized ascorbic acid – the only form of Vitamin C that can be effectively absorbed by the skin.
Obagi Professional-C Serum provides superior antioxidant protection by fast acting deep penetration to the dermal layer that will not wash off.  The L-ascorbic acid helps to defend against damaging UVA and UVB rays, attacks free oxygen radicals, prevents premature signs of aging like fine lines and wrinkles, protects against future damage, and contributes to collagen synthesis.

Incorporate Obagi C-Serum into a daily skin care regimen to help achieve the look of bright, smooth, youthful looking skin, diminish hyper pigmentation and encourages the growth of collagen.  Hyaluronic acid binds moisture to your skin to prevent dryness.
